JURA, a Swiss household appliances manufacturer specializing in premium coffee machines, asked us to develop an interface which would allow the user to get the desired coffee in very few simple steps.

We extended the brand by creating several sub-brand logos and a range of watches.

The result was a touch screen showing three sizes of coffee cups, representing the amount to choose and three icons indicating three levels of coffee strength. After pushing ‘start’, the coffee would be dispensed.

The line of icons was eventually extended to fulfill further needs, comprising signs for other coffee varieties as well as service indicators to replace cartridges, fill water, decalcify and more.
